Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead 3rd Shift operations within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for providing hands-on leadership to warehouse team members while ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate movement of materials, ingredients, packaging, and finished goods throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate is a visible and accountable leader who thrives in a high-volume environment, sets clear expectations, develops their team, and consistently reinforces a safety-first culture . This individual will partner closely with Operations, Production, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to support the overall success of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise 3rd Shift warehouse activities in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
• Maintain safety as the highest priority , ensuring employees follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish clear expectations for performance, productivity, attendance, quality, and accountability.
• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and direction to warehouse team members.
• Oversee the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of raw materials, packaging, work-in-process, and finished goods.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, proper product rotation, lot traceability, and adherence to established procedures.
• Monitor workflow and staffing needs to ensure operational priorities are met.
• Partner cross-functionally to identify and resolve issues that impact safety, quality, service, or productivity.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.
• Conduct routine floor observations and reinforce safe work practices and operational standards.
• Address performance concerns promptly and fairly while recognizing and developing strong performers.
• Ensure appropriate communication and shift handoffs between 3rd Shift and other operational teams.
• Support compliance with food safety, GMP, sanitation, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, or materials experience, preferably within a food manufacturing or high-volume manufacturing environment
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, material movement, and safety practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to hold team members accountable while building a positive and respectful work environment.
• Ability to work effectively across departments and shifts.
• Experience with WMS, ERP, or inventory management systems preferred.
• Food manufacturing, GMP, HACCP, SQF, or similar experience preferred. xhyhwjd

Schedule

3rd Shift | Overnight

This is a highly visible operational leadership role requiring a leader who is comfortable being present on the floor, making decisions, addressing issues in real time, and driving performance while never compromising on safety.
