Position: Trusts & Estates Paralegal/Administrator (Global Law Firm)

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid WFH)

Company: Globally Recognized AM 100 Law Firm

Comp Package: Base salary to $125K, Paid Overtime, Full Benefits, Bonus, Tuition Reimbursement, 401K+, etc.

Responsibilities for Trusts & Estates Administrator:

\n
• Prepare petitions for probate and compile supporting documentation for estate and gift tax returns (Forms 706 and 709)
\n
• Assist attorneys and accountants in identifying, valuing, and collecting estate and trust assets
\n
• Support trust administration by maintaining records on trust assets, trustee details, and tax statuses
\n
• Support T&E matters by managing intra-family loan records and drafting key estate planning documents, including POAs, health care proxies, wills, GRATs, and related agreements
\n
• Draft and proof a wide range of estate planning documents and correspondence
\n
• Create execution-ready versions of documents, ensuring accuracy in formatting and content
\n
• Maintain organized digital and physical files, create indexed binders, and assist with PowerPoint presentations
\n

Qualifications for Trusts & Estates Administrator:

\n
• Bachelor’s degree; 6+ years of relevant t&e experience required
\n
• Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
\n
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Hot Docs and Number Crunchers a plus
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
\n
